LPG price changes

Oil and gas distribution companies across the country have changed the prices of gas. The decision to cut domestic LPG prices has been taken two days in advance. The government has cut the prices of LPG cylinders by Rs 200. This deduction will be given to the beneficiary of Ujjwala Yojana . A 14.2 kg domestic cylinder is available for Rs 903 in India’s capital Delhi.

Along with the prices of domestic cylinders, the prices of commercial cylinders have also been reduced. Commercial cylinder prices have been reduced by Rs 158.

Credit card rules

According to the official website of the country’s private bank Axis Bank, on September 1, 2023, Magnus Credit Card users will not get any discount on some transactions. Apart from this, they will also have to pay many charges.

Free aadhar card update

According to UIDAI, Aadhaar users can update Aadhaar for free. Its deadline is 14 September 2023. You  can update Aadhaar Card online , while going to the Aadhaar Center for updating will have to pay a charge of Rs 50.

Rs 2,000 note exchange

The last date for exchange or deposit of Rs 2,000 note by RBI is 30 September 2023. This means you can change them till this date.

Changes in mutual fund rules

SEBI has introduced a regulatory framework for direct schemes of mutual fund schemes. These rules will come into effect from today. In this, it will be very easy to do business with mutual funds.

Changes in IPO rules

The rules for listing of IPOs have also been changed. Now the IPO will be open for investors for 6 days. Let us tell you that earlier the IPO was open for investors only for 3 days. This rule will be applicable from 1st September 2023 i.e. from today. 

Exemption in agricultural cess

The government has exempted the import of LPG, liquefied propane and liquefied butane from 15 per cent agricultural cess from Friday. In July, the government had imposed an agricultural cess of 15 per cent on the import of these items. The Finance Ministry said in a notification that the import of LPG, liquefied propane and liquefied butane has been completely exempted from Agriculture Infrastructure Development Cess (AIDC) with effect from September 1.
