A Pakistani TV channel claimed that captain Babar Azam’s private WhatsApp chat was leaked. According to this claim, Pakistan men’s cricket team captain Babar had talked with PCB COO Salman Nasir. After this, PCB issued an official statement on this matter, in which PCB termed these claims as false and also termed Babar’s chat as fake.

Along with this, former Pakistani pacer also supported Babar Azam and slammed the PCB.

Pakistan team captain Babar Azam’s WhatsApp chat leaked

Actually, after the leaking of Babar Azam ‘s WhatsApp chat, PCB was being continuously trolled. Meanwhile, PCB has said in its statement that the leaked WhatsApp chat between Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam and PCB COO Salman Nasir is completely fake. It has been created by some mischievous people with their wrong intentions.

The PCB said in its statement that it has no connection with these Pakistani channels and journalists, and has no WhatsApp conversation with Babar Azam, PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf and Salman.

PCB also appealed to the people to stay away from these false rumors and support the Pakistan team and captain Babar who went to India to play the World Cup.

Waqar Younis supported Babar Azam

Former Pakistan cricket team legend Waqar Younis supported captain Babar Azam. Waqar shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), in which he retweeted Babar’s leaked WhatsApp chat and wrote,

” What are you guys trying to do? This is very poor. You guys became happy. Please leave Babar Azam alone. He is an asset to Pakistan cricket.

During this, Waqar has tagged PCC, PCB official and the Pakistani channel which spread false rumors about Babar.
