Marco Jansen came to bowl the second over of the innings. He bowled 6 valid balls and four wide balls, which included a four over a wide. Yansen tried to swing the ball both ways, but looked completely unsuccessful. With this, an unwanted record was registered in the name of Marco Yansen.

17 runs were scored in Yansen’s over. Marco Jansen has become the bowler to bowl the longest over for South Africa in the ODI World Cup. This was not a good option for the team as well as the bowler. Let us tell you that Yansen is the highest wicket taker for South Africa in the World Cup 2023.

It was Wasim Akram, who made him the bowler he is, and of course, he has worked hard too,” he said, as quoted by the Indian Express.
